Robb Ross Foods
Business in the San Joaquin Valley continued to grow and so did Robb Ross Foods. The bakery business was booming in the 50's and 60's and the company gravitated to selling the bakeries almost exclusively. In 1972 Steve Norcross joined the company followed by his brother Everett in 1979. The focus of Robb Ross Foods, Inc. has remained on the bakery business until this day. Robb Ross Foods Inc. is the largest bakery supply house in the Central California area, serving bakeries, restaurant, and institutions from Sacramento to Bakersfield. We carry more than 3,000 dry, frozen, and refrigerated items in stock and an additional 10,000 items are available on a special order basis. We currently have a sales force of 9 outside sales representatives, and 4 inside customer service representatives. We run a fleet of 11 tractors with freezer trailers with daily service to customers in the Central California region. The fact that we have been in the bakery business for over 49 years has enabled us to accumulate a wealth of expertise. Our formula library is the finest in Central California. All of our sales representatives have experience in bakeries and donut shops. The management here at Robb Ross has a combined 90 years experience relating to the operation and profitability of all types of retail bakeries, wholesale bakeries, specialty bakeries, and donut shops. We would be available to assist and consult with prospective or established bakers regarding all aspects of the bakery business.
